Sorry, I suppose?
I've attempted to send the following email to you twice: once Thursday and once yesterday. Perhaps it's too late, and, if so, I'm certainly sorry. Each time my email to all of you came back as 16 separate un-sendable emails:
So there appears to be some confusion regarding the purchase of this item (4 x 5 film holder). Let me try to clear it up:
1) Again, there's no big problem buying used (you may just have to give it a cleaning when it arrives). BHPhotoVideo.com has a used section. Also, so long as the Seller appears reputable, there are always great deals on eBay. I just checked and saw "Buy It Now" deals of 4 for $40, etc. Work together!
2) If more than 1 comes in a package, purchase with someone else. You could conceivably spend $50 - $100 on one, but if you're savvy you can find these for $10 - $25 apiece.
One other thing: each team must purchase a "Film Changing Bag". You can find a brand new one on BH for less than $13. If you plan on shooting 4x5 in the future, go ahead and purchase one for yourself. They come in handy.
Let me know if any of you have anymore questions, OK?

Welcome
This blog will get a makeover soon enough. In the meantime, post what you like: old work, new artists, thoughts, etc.
I look forward to a fun, productive semester.
Shane
